What is PREP? PREP is the combined hockey team representing Palatine Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove and Prospect High Schools
When are PREP try outs?
PREP's spring evaluations will be held on
3/9,
9:25 PM at the Sports Complex in Rolling Meadows and 3/18, 9:35 PM
at West Meadows Ice Arena
Who is eligible to play for PREP? Any student enrolled at the participating schools may play for PREP. All participants must be covered by USA Hockey insurance before they may try out or play for PREP hockey.USA Hockey insurance from the fall 2009 season is still in effect until the end of May 2010. How much does it cost to play for PREP? The cost for PREP's spring 2010 season has yet to be determined. The cost of PREP hockey traditionally falls between the cost of a house league such as NWHL and a travel program such as NIHL.

Is it difficult to make the PREP team? Like most high school freshman teams, PREP does not cut any players who want to play. If you have played organized hockey at any level such as NWHL, NIHL, CSDL or AAA hockey you can play for PREP
Where does PREP play? PREP’s home ice is the West Meadows ice rink in Rolling Meadows. Practices may be held at the Sports Complex in Rolling Meadows or the Hoffman Estates ice rink.
Who does PREP play? PREP plays against local High Schools such as Fremd, Conant/Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates, and Hersey/Buffalo Grove as well as High Schools slightly further away such as Rockford or Huntley
