PREP Manna Fundraiser

The Manna Group is an organization to help groups raise funds.  There are no educational requirements necessary to join.  Any organization, including hockey players, is eligible for this program.This group offers approximately 200 different gift cards to various businesses.  Click here for a complete list.  Next to the business, you will notice a column labeled Disc.  That is the discount that the organization, PREP, would get back for the card.  You could sell these cards to family, friends, etc, and keep the discounted amount to apply towards your tuition.  The best part of this program is that you would purchase cards from businesses you frequent anyway.  We would not be asking you to purchase anything you wouldn’t already use on a regular basis.  This can be a monthly fundraiser since everybody buys groceries and gas on a monthly basis.   

In the following example, let’s assume a player sold the following cards totaling $1000:

His total profit for the month would be $51.  The only catch is that Manna charges a 1% fee for delivery and handling of the cards.  This 1% fee is on the total dollar value of the cards themselves.  Thus, in the above example, Manna would charge $10 for delivery ($1000 x 1%).  The player would them be left with a $41 profit.  Still a good profit if you can multiply that by 12 months, and increase profits by selling other cards to family, friends, etc.  Again, you wouldn’t be asking Grandma or Auntie to buy from a store she wouldn’t shop at anyway.  So the more people you can sell to, the more profits you can bring in.
