| I am having a hard time finding the words to
say how proud I am to be part of the Prep organization after the
outstanding job that was done by all in planning, organizing and
most importantly executing the Christmas Tournament. To
highlight a few of the accomplishments that were only made
possible through your efforts:
1) Every game was started and finished on time.
2) Referees showed up and were on time for every game.
3) The participating teams did not have to wait for locker
rooms, and I have had no reports of any locker room damage
or problems.
4) The level of competition was fair and proper for al the
teams participating, every team had an opportunity to win at
least one game. Very few one sided scores.
5) The boys did a great job with the scorekeeping and clock,
showed a lot of maturity in handling the jobs and showing up
for their shifts.
6) Our boys took their games up a notch, and really played
some good hockey this weekend, and their efforts were
rewarded with two championships. They played hard and clean
and with great sportsmanship. They made us proud, and
showed just how much this program has advanced and changed
in a positive direction over the last few years.

More important- the club really came together. I don't know how
many volunteers we had, but every station had some one giving up
their personal time for the good of the club, selling t-shirts,
raffle tickets, treats and the ducks. These things do not come
together without great leadership, and the tournament committee can
be very proud of the their leadership accomplishments as they ran a
flawless tournament. Heck, we even had Joe P and other coaches and
kids helping out Garabaldi's after they had to let an employee go.
Thank you all very much for all that you did to make Prep's first
"Freeze Out" the success it was. Please give my special thanks to
those not on the Board or coaching staff who really put in the long
hours especially Rick K, Karen M and the Morgan girls, Kim N, Lisa
Lullo, Holly S, Doc V, the Carbone family, the Charnotta's, Ed B,
Lou F, and the many others whose faces I saw a lot of for three days
but whose names I don't know or am failing to remember. I am very
proud to be a part of this team, thank you all from the bottom of my
heart.
